We’re very lucky here at ORC International to work with many great clients spanning many sectors and achieving lots of interesting insights. Each year we take the opportunity to celebrate them, awarding those who achieve the highest scores in their employee engagement surveys for overall engagement, customer centricity, innovation and wellbeing.
Over 400 organisations across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific are eligible. Because companies in Europe take up a larger portion of the group, we’ve split the awards by company size to ensure that everyone has a chance to be celebrated.
And the winners are…
Employee engagement award winners 2016
Europe small company (less than 300 employees) – Hexagon Housing
Europe medium company (300 – 2,500 employees) – Coventry Building Society
Europe large company (2,500+ employees) – Merlin Entertainments
North America – Dow Jones
Hong Kong/Singapore – Shangri-La
Australia – Officeworks
Innovation, customer centricity and wellbeing award winners 2016
Innovation – Booking.com (they also won in 2015)
Customer centricity – Greggs
Wellbeing – Shangri-La
Improving engagement and taking action
We also introduced new reasons to celebrate this year, focusing on those organisations improving and doing great things to turn the results of their engagement surveys into action.
Most improved for employee engagement – DCMS
Taking action – Hexagon Housing
The awards were presented at our 21st Employee Engagement conference – a great day of knowledge sharing and celebrating all aspects of employee engagement. Who will win next year?
